Our Beliefs
Our Clients / Our Mission / Our Beliefs / Our Philosophy / Our Staff
We believe that the first steps to success is devising a family-centered program containing functional objectives to meet the needs of the child and the family.
We often deal with multicultural families, who present with diverse needs.
We take great pride in knowing that our staff treats everyone with respect, dignity, and care.
We believe that our interdisciplinary approach is one of the reasons why we provide such high quality services to each child.
We promote an environment where therapists from different disciplines are always encouraged to get involved in each child’s treatment plan, regardless of the child’s difficulties.
In order to promote safety, we provide training to our staff, as well as use of appropriate equipment.
We believe that progress and growth can only come from continuous improvement and adjustment.
We strive to always update our techniques, organization, equipment and incorporate innovative strategies to the best of our ability in order to provide high quality services.
Finally, we will promote a positive and supportive environment for workers by:
- providing continues monitoring, evaluations and feedback to all staff members
- providing appropriate training
- utilizing special expertise of each staff member in order to motivate and encourage a productive environment
Each child is provided with Functional Goals:
Our mission is for each child to become as independent and successful in the home and school environment as possible.
Our interdisciplinary team works together with the family to produce individualized goals in order to further develop the child’s current strengths and functioning ability.
We base our goals on the following principals:
- Each child will be provided with services in the least restrictive environment to further develop skills that are the building blocks for learning and development in all areas.
- Each therapy plan will incorporate skills that are functional and necessary for independence and academic success, which may result in decrease of negative behaviors.
- Each family will be educated in the skills necessary to promote development outside of therapy (i.e. home environment).
